Sushi, Designed by Kota Imai and Folded by Han-Sheng Yang Sushi, Designed by Kota Imai and Folded by Origami bluedandelion Kota Imai has designed several different pieces of origami sushi and they look quite delicious! These pieces of sushi are each folded from one sheet of paper. Shitake, Designed and Folded by Jhon DoeĬrease pattern available from Jhon Doe’s Flickr This origami shitake mushroom is incredible, when you look at it from the bottom like in this photo it has the little flaps or whatever that you see on a real mushroom. You don’t normally think about food when it comes to origami, it’s usually things like animals or shapes but this just goes to show you that if you’re a good enough designer you can fold literally anything out of paper!

Surprisingly enough there are a lot of origami food models and a lot of them are actually quite amazing.
